On June 14, 2025, I had the privilege of delivering the keynote speech at the University of Cape Coast’s Atlantic Hall Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit. The event, themed “Transformational Leadership,” brought together some of Ghana’s most dynamic student leaders and future innovators.
My address, “Youth in Entrepreneurship: Breaking Down Barriers and Achieving Success,” challenged students to reject passive participation and become bold builders of their own futures. I emphasized that Ghana’s transformation won’t come from policy papers alone—it will come from brave young people who dare to create solutions, businesses, and movements.
In a deeply humbling moment, the Junior Common Room Committee of Atlantic Hall presented me with a citation of honor. The words on the plaque read:
“To our esteemed visionary entrepreneur, policy advocate, and outstanding leader… your transformative role as Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs has been distinguished by strategic foresight, dedication, and excellence… Your advocacy for youth-centered policies and a National Youth Entrepreneurship Fund reflects your deep commitment to youth empowerment and impact.”

To be recognized for work that you are deeply passionate about is an honor—but to be recognized by students, the very group you serve, is a reminder that every word, every program, every fight for reform matters.
This citation is not just a personal milestone—it is a call to do more. To build louder. To push harder. And to keep showing up for young people across Ghana and Africa.
